A-Licensed Examiner in the DKV (German Karate Federation) for JKA Style

Nathalie trained for her shodan (blackbelt) with instruction from Sensei Krister Naab (6th Dan Shotokan ISKF, 4th Dan Ryukyu Kobudo) in North Vancouver, Canada and graded in 2011 under examination from Sensei Yutaka Yaguchi (9th Dan, Chief Instructor and Chairman of the International Shotokan Karate Federation). After moving to Germany and training in several dojos and associations, she graded to nidan (2nd degree blackbelt) under examination from Shihan Hideo Ochi (9th Dan Chief Instructor DJKB). Nathalie has finally found her „karate home“ in Germany in the familiar and traditional karate espoused by the JKA (named „JKA Shokukai“ in the German Karate Federation) under Chairman Claudiu Dinu (6th Dan JKA). Nathalie graded to sandan (3rd degree blackbelt) in Japan at JKA Headquarters (Honbu Dojo) under examination by Sensei Seizo Izumiya (7th Dan JKA) and Sensei Katsutoshi Shiina (7th Dan JKA) in the spring 2019.
